Me and a number of other students were able to go to see Cirque du Soleil, the top circus in the world. It was very amazing and inspiring, and a group of us are already building a strong circus group on campus. About one week after the performance me a nd a friend from Spain got to meet some of the
performers, one of which we saw again today, to talk about performing, circus discaplines etc.Also today, me and a bunch of students went down town to protest the WTO confrence here in Hong Kong. I was great to see a very large organized demonstraition away from the shelter of liberal Santa Fe. Protest was mainly non-violent and there is alot of media hype so don't worry about us.

Hey Cedar, it's nice to hear more of your adventure. How are the politics of America playing in Hong Kong? Do people there see the WTO as a function of our foreign policy? All is fine here, we've had some very cold weather, single digits at night, earliest cold in 35 years so they say. What's this "me and a friend from Spain" and "...me and a bunch of students..."?
