Vatican

Daaaaaaaaammmmmnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. Every corner of this place took five generations of masters to build. I am totaly in awe of the detail, the overall planing, gold, textiles, wood, glass, they are the masters of it all. I was listening to 2pac on the way over, I realized this is about as ''Westside'' as it gets. It's gonna be hard to ever appreciate Santa Fe art ever again. Being brought up on ''rustic style'' I'm blown away. It is kind of depressing to think about how much pain the church inflicted and how much it took to create this beautiful city and collection. i am reminded of the greediness of the States. On a related note, I think I am goiing to get the ultimate Italian suvinear- a passport. If any of you have dual citizenship, perhaps you could leave some comments or send an e-mail concerning the disadvantages.
peace,
Cedro

the pictures above are off the net, my pics of these places will be in this post eventually. the dome thingy is, of course, st peters basillica. the pic with the knot work and the colored marbol is a circular table about 1m wide. the ceiling pic is inside the vatican museum. the thing with the hat and keys is the palpal symbol. the papal symbol of a specific pope can be seen on the round marbol thing.
