Naples

Ok, we've been in naples for about three days now. Naples is a port-city, and its harbor is very beautiful (especialy last night at sunset). This is the next level of italy, everything is more intense. All the aunts, uncles, and cusins are very amicable-they haved treated me like family from the get go and are always trying to lure me back on another trip. They are doing a good job. The city itself can be described very well by somthing my father said on the drive from the train station "un-checked urban growth." Napoli is a crazy city, it seems to have no plan or structure, and southern Italy seems to have more of a third-world feel than Northern Italy. We have been even more than usual. I now cheat, I eat less than everyone else at lunch and eat very little for breakfast, which gives me digesting space for the dinners. The dinners we've had have all had at least three courses and have been sssssoooooooooooo goooooooooooood. Today we will tour around the city center.
